Crosslake Vet is Expanding
Crosslake Veterinary Hospital was built in 1997 with the existing lobby, two exam rooms, and surgical and treatment space. In 2007, an addition was added to create a dental suite, a laundry and grooming room, an isolation ward, and increased storage space. In 2011, Drs. Kyle Anderson and Rachael Johnson took over ownership, and since then, have continued to grow in staff, services and patients. We have now outgrown our existing facility.
Starting October 2020, the expansion and remodeling process has begun! The plans include a new parking lot with a new entrance and larger vestibule, as well as an expanded indoor client seating area with access to an outdoor seating area during nice weather. Five examination rooms are being designed to help accommodate all sizes of our patients and allow for a more private setting for patients who may feel safer in a calmer environment. Our treatment area is expanding significantly, our surgical suite is being enlarged, and canine-specific and feline-specific intensive care wards will help all post-operative patients feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible. The existing dental suite is being reconfigured, and additional patient housing locations are being added. Our outdoor space will now allow for a fenced-in area to walk hospitalized patients as well as added grassy areas for clients to walk pets while they are here.
The construction process is expected to be complete in time for summer of 2021. We will continue to operate normally during this process, and look forward to welcoming you back inside once it’s complete. Thank you all for your support!
