radiology (1)Radiographs, also known as X-rays, are an important diagnostic tool in veterinary medicine. We provide onsite radiography using state-of-the art digital technology.

Radiography is painless, safe, and completely non-invasive. With modern technology, only very low doses of radiation are used, making the process completely safe for even pregnant females and very young pets. Radiographs can be used to evaluate not only bones but also the size, shape, and position of many of the internal organs. Radiographs are used to diagnose bladder stones, broken bones, chronic arthritis, and a variety of other conditions. Depending on their size and location even tumors can be detected using radiography.
