Veterinarian
Dr. Caitlin Bentz grew up in a suburb outside of the Twin Cities but many of her favorite memories were made at her grandparent’s cabin on Pelican Lake.
She later attended the University of Minnesota, Morris for her undergraduate coursework before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. After spending as much time as possible in the Brainerd Lakes area and at Crosslake Veterinary Hospital throughout her studies, Dr. Bentz knew this is where she wanted to practice veterinary medicine long term and was thrilled to be able to join the CVH team in 2019! Dr. Bentz really enjoys the variety that general practice offers and the ability to help her patients and clients throughout the entirety of the pet's life regardless of what health challenges they may face.
In her free time, Dr. Bentz enjoys riding her horse Oso, traveling to other countries, hiking, and spending time on the lake with her friends and family. She currently shares her home with her husband Corbin and their cat Torti.
