Dr. Candace Lien grew up in Grand Rapids, MN enjoying summers on Pokegama Lake. She attended the University of North Dakota for her undergraduate studies before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Wisconsin- Madison. After completing her studies and working in Madison, Dr. Lien knew she wanted to move back to northern Minnesota to be closer to friends and family. She enjoys surgery, dentistry and helping every pet live long healthy lives. In her free time, she enjoys backpacking with friends, kayaking, hiking with her two dogs (Scout and Oakley) and reading a good book with her two cats (Luna and Dexter).
